At 45, Masao’s life seems like a complete failure: His wife has left him and his company is bankrupt. When he befriends Emiko, a strange female high school student who seems to know everything about him, things take a fateful turn. Akihiro TODA’s film is a gut-wrenching examination of life, loneliness, and lies people tell themselves.
