Hikaru leads a lonely life in the countryside. When his colleague Takafumi asks him to join him for Paul McCartney’s concert in Tokyo, the two embark on a road trip and soon form an unusual bond. NIPPON VISIONS JURY AWARD 2017 winner Hirobumi WATANABE, using his trademarks of well-framed cinematography and a tonal mixture of melancholy and humor, brings us a heartwarming slice-of-life story.
