The ronin Sanjuro roams the countryside, and ends up in a town that is being destroyed by two warring clans. Businesses are closed and strangers are avoiding the town. Sanjuro makes it his mission to rid the town of the two gangs by playing them against each other. This timeless classic is one of the most recognized works by Akira KUROSAWA, having received worldwide acclaim and multiple awards. It served as an inspiration for western films like A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS.
